Graeme came to us 6months prior to selling, at the time we also had 2 other agents come out. We choose Graeme because of his honesty, he showed up on time and returned our phones call promptly. The other 2 agents were just telling what we wanted to hear to get signed up. Graeme went through the house and gave us a list of items to do prior to selling to achieve the best result. He also suggested things that were not worth doing due to cost/value added. We had never sold a home before so we put our trust in Graeme and followed all his instructions and recommendations. 5 months later we were ready to put it on the market. Graeme came out went through the entire process and gave us all our options. We said to Graeme, "if this was his house how would you do it?" We discussed the plan and I'll be honest it meant investing a little bit more cost in advertising and property styling etc. We concluded that we should give ourselves our best chance and attract as many buyers as possible. So again, we followed Graeme's plan. The house went on the market and 4 days later we had our first opens on sat and sun. We had 65 'groups' come through the house in just the 2 opens!!!! So the advertising must have worked well! Monday Graeme called EVERY single group that walked through the house. He came to our house Monday night with 11 offers on the table! $370,000 was the expected price for our home from the suburb recent sales. $400,000 was my wife and I's 'Dream Price' Graeme had sold the house for $418,000!
