Life Saving Equipment Donation

The team at LJ Hooker Walkerville | Modbury are proud to have been part of the donation of this life saving equipment!

The Humpty Dumpty Foundation and the LJ Hooker Foundation will be making a difference to the lives of local families after LJ Hooker Foundation representatives presented Noarlunga Hospital with a Connex Vital Signs Monitor valued at $6,200 to its Emergency Department on Wednesday 7th March.

The Connex Vital Signs Monitor allows accurate assessment of vital signs like temperature, blood pressure and oxygen saturation levels in a paediatric setting. It will enable improved clinical outcomes. The reusable finger sensor allows for freedom of movement and provides the ability to care for children in multiple situations.

LJ Hooker Regional Manager Rod Adcock said: “On any given weekend, LJ Hooker teams around Adelaide are fundraising for our charity partners and local causes to make a tangible difference in the communities in which they live and work."

The LJ Hooker Foundation was launched to consolidate the funds raised through these grassroots activities and identify worthy beneficiaries in the community. The LJ Hooker Foundation is proud to support the Humpty Dumpty Foundation, which will help channel the results of our fundraising efforts to in-need medical equipment in SA.

Through the LJ Hooker Foundation, our offices can nominate their local public hospital and Humpty will source an item on their wish list – so money raised by the offices will go directly back to their local hospital and make a difference to local children in need. The donation of the Connex Vital Signs Monitor to Noarlunga Hospital is a great example of this.

Clinical Director of the Noarlunga Hospital Emergency Department, Dr Jim Holland said, “We are very thankful for this generous donation to our emergency department. We would like to thank the donors of the Humpty Dumpty Foundation and LJ Hooker Foundation for their support. This machine will be a welcome addition to our department, and will help to ensure we continue to provide the highest quality of care to our paediatric patients”.

Paul Francis OAM, Humpty Dumpty Foundation Founder and Executive Chairman, said: “We are thrilled to be an appointed beneficiary of the LJ Hooker Foundation.  The LJ Hooker Foundation’s commitment to the Humpty Dumpty Foundation means together we can make a significant difference right across Australia. The LJ Hooker Foundation’s support of the Humpty Dumpty Foundation ensures medical professionals have access to medical equipment that is quite often life-saving and can assist them to treat and care for young Australian lives. On behalf of the Humpty Dumpty Foundation, the medical professionals and the kids who will benefit from improved outcomes because of this equipment, I say thank you to the LJ Hooker Foundation for this contribution to Noarlunga Hospital.”
